This new patient walked into our clinic complaining of a large gap on her lower front teeth. She had noticed
yellow "stuff" was growing between the gap and could not remove it by brushing.
The yellow "stuff" turned out to be calculus and was easily removed by professional scaling.
Our dentist offered her braces to close the gap but she declined. She did not wish to put on braces
for a extended period of time. Adhesive bonded tooth-colored fillings were used to close the gap in one visit.
